Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their client's team in California. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, information, and resources. The Logistics Coordinator will play a vital role in managing logistics operations and supporting the overall supply chain process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to streamline logistics processes.
  • Maintain and update logistics databases and systems for tracking shipments and inventory.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
  • Monitor and report on transportation costs and logistics performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any logistics-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Work Hours

The Logistics Coordinator will work from Monday to Friday during the first shift.
